The Role of Power Electronics in Electric Vehicle Efficiency and Sustainability

  • Webinar
  • All sectors

Power electronics plays a key role in optimizing the energy efficiency of electric vehicles through components such as inverters, DC-DC converters, and onboard chargers. Technological advancements, including Wide Bandgap semiconductors (SiC, GaN) and 800V architectures, enhance performance, range, and fast charging capabilities. Finally, these innovations support a more sustainable transition by enabling the integration of electric vehicles with renewable energy sources and smart grids (V2G).
