In&motion specializes in the development of intelligent airbag solutions. Defining itself as an “ingredient brand”, the company develops technology that is integrated into the garments of partner brands specialized in specific markets such as motorcycling, riding, skiing, and now urban mobility. In&motion has a dozen partner brands in France, Europe, the USA and Japan. More than 100,000 motorcyclists will be using In&motion airbags by 2025.
Based in Annecy, France, and with a staff of 80, the company not only develops the hardware technology for airbag solutions, but also, and above all, the intelligence needed to deploy this protection at the right time, and only in the event of an accident. This predictive intelligence is unique in the world, as is the ability of In&motion systems to record usage data from all users, every millisecond; this data enables continuous improvement of system performance.
As In&motion’s mission is to democratize the airbag in all markets where its solutions are needed (and prevent serious or fatal injuries), its teams of hardware and software engineers are constantly seeking improvements in performance, comfort and cost, to make its solutions suitable and accessible.

While the focus over the last 6-8 years has been on motorcycles, micromobility is now the company’s main interest, particularly in developing intelligent head protection solutions.
