The aim is to develop and strengthen sustainable, intelligent, intermodal and climate-resilient mobility on French and Swiss border territories by improving access to the trans-European networks (TEN-E).
The actions carried out under this objective are intended to:
- Support the development of public transport networks in order to improve travel;
- Encourage multimodality and develop the interoperability of transport systems;
- Provide alternative solutions to the individual car for travel in the cooperation area.
- Projects must involve at lease one French leader and one Swiss leader.
- Applicants must be legal entities. This Open Calls targets the following potential beneficiaries in the transport sector such as public authorities and public establishments, infrastructure managers, transport unions, etc…
- The program is implemented in a cooperation zone which covers:
– 5 French departments: Ain, Haute-Savoie, Franche-Comté, Territoire de Belfort, Doubs and Jura ;
– 7 Swiss cantons: Jura, Neuchâtel, Fribourg, Vaud, Genève and Valais.
- French entities must justify that their project is in line with:
– The Regional Coherence Strategy for Digital Development (SCORAN) aiming at strengthening the digitalization of the economy ;
– The Regional Infrastructure and Transport Plan (SRIT) for the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté and the Regional Planning, Sustainable Development and Territorial Equality Plan (SRADDET), aiming at promoting intermodality and environmentally friendly modes of transport.
