- System health monitoring and life-cycle interoperability
- Mechanical and chemical recycling of soldiers’ individual equipment
- Technologies for safe water reuse in deployed military camps
- Production of synthetic fuel from waste and biomass for military use
- High-power microwave technology against electronic systems
- Advanced printed circuit board technologies for defense electronics
The following activities are eligible :
- Knowledge genetion : Activities aimed at developing and improving knowledge, products, and technologies, including disruptive technologies with significant impact in the defense field.
- Knowledge integration: Activities aimed at strengthening interoperability and resilience, including securing production and data exchange, mastering critical defense technologies, and effectively exploiting results.
- Feasibility studies: Assessment to explore the feasibility of new products, technologies processes, or services.
- Design: Development of technical specifications for a defense product or technology, with partial tests to reduce risks in an industrial or representative environment.
Submitted projects cannot include feasibility studies only.
Applicants must be independent legal entities (public or private), not under the control of a non-associated third country (unless approved guarantees are provided by an eligible country).
Applicants must be SMEs or non-profit research organizations.
Applicants must be established in an eligible country (EU Member States, including overseas territories, or EEA countries).
- A minimum of 3 independent entities from 3 different eligible countries;
- The coordinator must be an SME;
- The budget allocated to research organizations must not exceed 40% of the total grant amount.
