Objective

The EIC Open Accelerator has no predefined thematic priorities and is open to proposals in any technology or application area.

Priorities

The EIC accelerator helps companies (start-ups and SMEs) to develop high-impact innovations that have the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones; to develop high-risk, high-impact innovations (disruptive innovation); to develop solutions with a high potential to create new markets, transform existing markets and contribute to societal innovation; to develop solutions based on scientific discoveries, radical thinking or technological breakthroughs (“deep tech”).

Eligibility

  • This is a one-stage call for projects
  • Be established in an EU Member State or in a country associated to Horizon Europe
  • Applicants from the UK can apply to the Accelerator, but are not eligible for the investment part
  • Applicants for funding only must be established in a Member State or an associated country
