Objective
Support SMEs with high-impact innovative technology or business models that are likely to create new markets or disrupt existing ones.
Priorities
No predefined priorities : open to proposals in all technological fields;
Specific funding topics : certain proposals may benefit from funding, notable for :
- Human-centric generative AI made in Europe;
- Emerging quantum technology components.
Support for advanced technologies :
- Must have been tested and validated (at least TRL 5);
- Designed to catalyze additional investments for scaling up the innovation.
Focus on “deep tech” innovation : targets innovations based on scientific discoveries or technological breakthroughs that require significant long-term funding.
Eligibility
Eligible Entities
SMEs : A signle company classifies as an SME, established in a Membre State or an Associated Country;
Small mid-cap : A single company classified as small mid-cap (up to 499 employees), only in exceptional cases for rapid expansion.
Natural persons or legal entities :
- From a member State or Associated Country intending to establish an SME or small mid-cap;
- Interested in investing in an SME or small mid-cap established in a Member State or Associated Country;
- From a non-associated third country, intending to establish an SME or relocate an existing SME to a Member State or Associated Country.
Location
Entities must be established in EU Member States or in countries associated with Horizon Europe.
Proposal composition
- Mono-beneficiary : actions must be proposed by an entity established in a Member State or Associated Country;
- Multi-beneficiaries : proposals must include at least 3 entities established indifferent countries.
