- Develop products, processes, or services based on results from previous projects to reach higher technology readiness levels.
- Explore and define a go-to-market strategy, such as direct exploitation, the creation of a spin-off, or licensing to an existing company.
- Projects should conclude at a TRL 5-8.
- Encourage the participation of new actors, such as start-up and SMEs, even if they were not involved in the initial project.
- Eligible single entities: start-ups, SMEs or research organizations established in a Member State or Associated Country can apply individually. Large companies are not eligible as a single entity.
- A consortium of two independent legal entities from two different Member States or Associated Countries can apply.
- A consortium of three to five independent legal eneities is eligible, provided it includes at least one entity located in a Member States or Associated Countries.
- Eligible projects include those previously funded by the EIC Pathfinder, ERC Proof of Concept, and certain projects funded under Horizon 2020 or Horizon Europe.
- If the eligible project is still active, it must have been active for at least 12 months. If completed, the submission must occur within 30 months of the project’s end.
- If the applicants do not own the results, they must obtain a commitment letter to access intellectual property rights.
