To create opportunities for vehicle-integrated photovoltaic, reduce dependence on the electric gris, increase the range of electric vehicles, and promote cost-effective, energy-efficient, and carbon-neutral road transportation.
Proposal must demonstrate:
- Vehicle concepts integrating photovoltaic technologies with various cell and encapsulation technologies that are efficient under diverse lighting conditions, lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally friendly.
- Cost optimization and durability of vehicles integrating photovoltaic technologies while complying with automotive specifications and standards, maximizing the use of solar energy.
- Photovoltaic charging stations can meet a significant share of charging demand, balancing the public grid, and reducing energy costs.
- A solid exploitation and commercialization plan, including feasibility studies and indications of potential funding sources.
Legal entities must be established in an EU Member state, Overseas Countries and Territories, Horizon Europe-associated countries, or certain low-or middle-income countries.
- A consortium must consist of at least 3 independent legal entities, each established in a different country;
- A least one entity must be established in an EU Member State;
- Two other entities must be located in different Member States of associated countries.
