- Breakthrough Innovation: the prize rewards a company or organization funded or co-funded by the applicant, pioneering a revolutionary innovation, particularly in deep-tech and STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) within the EU or countries associated with Horizon Europe.
- Impact: The innovation addresses a real need or challenge, with significant benefits for people and/or the planet. The applicant must demonstrate how the company’s performance and growth create a positive socio-economic or environmental impact (well-being, education, profit, job creation).
- Inspiration: The applicant is an inspiring leader playing a pivotal role in the company’s success and serves as a role model, encouraging women and girls to reach their full potential. She may also promote gender equality within the company or through innovative initiatives.
- The applicant must be a woman.
- The applicant must be legally established in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe, including overseas territories.
- The applicant must be the founder or co-founder of the company or organization.
- The company must be established in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe and registered at least two years before the call year.
- Applicants who have already received an EU or Euratom prize for the same activities cannot receive a second prize.
